Security that understands hospitality.

People haven't gone out for the evening to interact with security. That's exactly why good venue security matters. The best door teams are visible without dominating the venue, approachable when customers need help and ready to act when something starts to go wrong.

When this makes sense.

  • A bar or nightclub needs professional door supervision
  • A hospitality venue wants security that works with the customer experience
  • A licensed premises needs entry management, ID checks and queue control
  • A venue wants support with difficult behaviour and de-escalation

What this can cover.

Responsibilities depend on the individual contract. These are the areas Guard Secure can include in the assignment instructions.

Questions about venue, bar & club security.

Both. Door supervisors work at the entrance of licensed premises. Security officers can work inside the venue, in restricted areas or at events. The right role depends on the venue and the licensing conditions.

Yes. Regular venue cover — nightly, weekly or specific event nights — can be arranged. We'll agree a rota and assignment instructions that stay consistent.

Cover arrangements are part of the contract. If the assigned door supervisor can't attend, Guard Secure works to provide replacement cover so the venue isn't left without door staff.
