Services
The building opens. The building closes. Your staff don't have to do it alone.
Someone has to be first in and last out. Guard Secure can handle the opening and closing of your premises, so employees don't have to attend alone early in the morning or late at night.
When this makes sense.
- Staff are being asked to open up alone at 6am or lock up at 10pm
- The building needs a perimeter check before it's opened or after it's closed
- You want a professional to set or unset the alarm as part of the routine
- Multiple doors or access points need to be managed at opening and closing
What this can cover.
Responsibilities depend on the individual contract. These are the areas Guard Secure can include in the assignment instructions.
How an assignment is planned.
We agree the opening and closing times and the procedure for each
An officer attends at the agreed time, carries out checks and opens or secures the building
Alarm systems are set or unset according to the procedure — Guard Secure doesn't supply alarm equipment
Any issues are reported and escalated

Questions about lock & unlock services.
Where the customer's existing alarm system allows it and the contract procedures permit, officers can set and unset alarms as part of the lock/unlock service. Guard Secure doesn't supply or install alarm equipment.
The officer follows the escalation procedure agreed with you. That might mean not entering the building, contacting the police, or calling a named contact. The procedure is set before the service starts.
Yes. Many sites combine lock/unlock with patrol visits so the property is checked at opening, closing and during the night.
