Event security built around the event.

You can't plan security properly without knowing what's happening. Five hundred people attending a corporate exhibition creates a different requirement from five hundred people arriving at a licensed music venue. Guard Secure looks at the venue, audience, operating hours, entrances, restricted areas and any specific concerns before agreeing the security requirement.

When this makes sense.

  • An event is expecting a large number of visitors through entrances in a short period
  • A venue needs professional security personnel for a one-off or recurring event
  • An exhibition or trade show requires access control and restricted-area management
  • A corporate event or private function needs security that works with the event, not against it
  • A festival or outdoor event needs perimeter, entrance and crowd support

What this can cover.

Responsibilities depend on the individual contract. These are the areas Guard Secure can include in the assignment instructions.

How an assignment is planned.

01

Tell us what's happening — event type, venue, date, expected attendance and operating hours

02

We identify the pressure points — entrances, exits, restricted spaces, guest areas and particular concerns

03

We agree the team — the type and number of security personnel required, in line with risk assessment, venue requirements and licensing conditions

04

We brief the team — clear assignment instructions before the event begins

05

We run the event — security personnel work alongside organisers and venue management throughout

Other services

    Questions about event security.

The right number depends on the venue, event type, audience, licensing conditions, layout and identified risks. We won't give you a fixed formula — we'll look at the event and discuss what makes sense.

If another provider has cancelled or you suddenly need additional security staff, tell us what you need and when. We'll confirm what's realistically possible.

Both. Security personnel work alongside whoever is running the event — organisers, venue management or both. The assignment instructions set out who the team reports to and how communication works.

Door supervision at licensed premises may require an SIA Door Supervisor licence. Talk to us about your venue and we'll confirm what we can provide.

    What are you planning?

Tell us what the event is, where it's happening and when. We'll talk through the security requirement with you.
