Services

Your staff shouldn't be investigating alarms at 2am.

If an alarm goes off at 2am, one of your employees shouldn't have to find out why. Guard Secure can hold keys and respond to out-of-hours alarm activations, attending the property to check what's happened and dealing with the situation in professional hands.

When this makes sense.

  • You don't want employees attending the property alone after hours
  • The building has an alarm system that generates activations out of hours
  • You need someone to attend, assess and deal with the situation professionally
  • You want a single point of contact for out-of-hours property issues

What this can cover.

Responsibilities depend on the individual contract. These are the areas Guard Secure can include in the assignment instructions.

01Secure keyholding arrangements
02Out-of-hours attendance following alarm activations

Questions about keyholding & alarm response.

No. Guard Secure is a physical security guarding company. We respond to alarm activations by attending the property. We don't install, maintain or remotely monitor alarm systems.

Response times depend on the location, the time of night and officer availability. We won't promise a specific response time without understanding the site and the area. Talk to us about your location and we'll be honest about what's realistic.

The officer assesses the situation, contacts the police if needed, secures the property where possible, and follows the escalation procedure agreed with you. You get a report of what was found and what was done.

Keys are held securely under a formal keyholding agreement. Access to keys is controlled and logged.
